Criteria for All Scholarships

All applicants must be male between the age of 17-22

All applicants must participate in M.E.N. Inc. programming

All scholarship recipients will be matched with a mentor (regardless of re-location or College/University of choice)

All scholarship recipients must be present at our Annual Scholarship Gala on September 21st, 2019 @7PM
Paul & Barbara Matthews Scholarship for Excellence
Tuition Support (up to $2,500)
Applicant must demonstrate a financial need, be accepted to or enrolled in a 4-year University, GPA 3.0 or greater, submit a 500-word essay answering the following question “What meaningful impact do you intend to have on the World?”
Johnson-Wood Scholarship for Entrepreneurship
Tuition Support (up to $2,500)
Applicant must identify as LGBTQI, demonstrate a financial need, be accepted or enrolled in a 4-year University, GPA 3.0 or greater, submit an original business idea or how you would make a current product/service better; 1-2-page narrative, illustrations accepted.
Dr. Richard Campbell Memorial Fund for Educators
Tuition support (up to $2,000)
Applicant must demonstrate a financial need, be accepted to or enrolled in a 4-year University, Plan to major in Education, GPA of 2.75 or greater, submit a 500-word essay on how you would be a great addition to the field of Education.
Woodforest National Bank Quest for Success
(Community College Scholarship up to $1,500)
Applicant must demonstrate a financial need, attend or plan to attend a Community College and submit a 500-word essay answering the following question
“Why should you be awarded this scholarship?”
